Taman Negara National Park & beaches
Kelantan is a great destination for outdoor activities. Kelantan's coastline is almost completely undeveloped, and offers a number of idyllic beaches and vast stretches of tropical forest that cover the state, and its southeastern corner that forms part of the Taman Negara National Park. Scuba diving is one of the best activities in the tropical waters of Kelantan. Visibility is phenomenal, sometimes extending more than 100 feet.
Siti Khadijah Market:
Siti Khadijah Market (Pasar besar Siti Khadijah), as its name implies, is a local wet market. Its name after Prophet Muhammad's wife, whom is known for her entrepreneurial skill, as this market is mostly run by women. Apart from the usual fresh goodies like seafood, vegetables and wide variety of fruits, you can also find ready-to eat food like 'ayam percik', nasi ulam and a variety of noodle soups, all unique in flavors and taste of Kelantan, serves freshly for you. Not to forget to taste the local desserts like 'kuih muih' (cake sort of), tempeh and a glass of hot milk tea, which is the staple drink for Kelantanese.
Gunung Reng:
It's one of the most wonderful places in Kelantan. Gunung Reng is located near the East-West highway at Jeli and is approximately 15 minutes from Kampung Kalai. Gunung Reng can be seen as a huge rock because it exists in an area that has no continuous series of mountains. According to the locals, Gunung Reng is a piece of rock brought down by God to destroy a village. This happened due to the evil and cruel activities by the past residence of the village and they deserved to be punished and vanish from the face of Earth. from the outside the screeching of bats are quite noisy. Inside it's bigger than you'll expect. The stench of bat droppings is quite overpowering and the floor of the cave is slippery with green and black guano. The screeching noise seems to come mainly from a kind of chimney which disappears up into the dark inner recesses of the mountain. The cave also have the unique structure of stalactites and stalagmites which are look like anthropoid living and things. The fact is, certain rock formations, granite / limestone mountain are the same as found in Gua Musang.
